Ingredients

  • 1 qt. large strawberries, rinsed, dried

  • 16 mini pretzel rods

  • 1 c. mini marshmallows

  • 2 c. semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Directions

  1. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment; set aside. Twist leaves of 1 strawberry to move them out of way, then spear end with a fork or toothpick for easy dipping.

  2. Make the legs: Break 1 pretzel rod in half and spear 2 marshmallows with one half. Using kitchen shears, trim ends of marshmallows to create an oval shape, if needed. Repeat with other pretzel half and 2 more marshmallows. Dab with chocolate and affix the marshmallow end to the opposite sides of the pointy end of the strawberry.

  3. Make the wings: Using kitchen shears, cut 1 marshmallow in half diagonally. Dab cut sides with chocolate and affix to sides of strawberry near the top. Let sit until hardened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Using fork or toothpick, dip whole strawberry into more melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. Arrange on prepared sheet.

  5. Repeat with remaining strawberries, pretzel rods, and marshmallows. Freeze until firm, about 10 minutes.
