About 2 cups of lean ground beef, browned and drained
3 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 can of diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend), shredded
24 wonton wrappers
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Generously coat a standard-sized muffin tin with cooking spray.
Combine cooked beef, taco seasoning, and tomatoes in a bowl and mix well.
Line each cup of prepared muffin tin with a wonton wrapper.
Add 1 ½ tablespoons of taco mixture. Top with one tablespoon of cheese.
Press down the first layer and add another layer of wonton wrapper, taco mixture, and a final layer of cheese.
Bake taco bites in the oven for 11-13 minutes until the edges are golden and crunchy.
Remove the taco bites from the oven, and serve them with a dip or a sauce for that extra punch of flavor
